Standing Rules

  • Expenses: Provides authorization to issue checks for mandated expenses even if a budget is not approved

Ratified Bylaw Amendments

  • Amendment #2008-001:  “Core Meetings” replaced with “General Meetings”
  • Amendment #2008-002:  Annexing two houses on Bucknall Rd. into Baker West Boundaries
  • Amendment #2008-003:  Removal of enrollment fee
  • Amendment #2008-004:  Removal of requirement to be a member to participate in committees
  • Amendment #2008-005:  Modification to method of proposing amendments to the Bylaws
  • Amendment #2008-006:  Modify definition of standard quorum and eliminate use of organizational quorum
  • Amendment #2008-007:  Modify definition of member in good standing
  • Amendment #2008-011:  Require secret ballot for all officer running unopposed (amended to require only show of hands before ratifying)
  • Amendment #2008-012:  Require annual membership roster update (amended to allow member to notify the association instead of only the Vice President; removed mention of Organizational Quorum which was removed in the ratification of amendment #2008-006 and simply added a statement requiring annual update of membership roster)
